On the second Tuesday of every month, the sisters at the Visitor's Center organize a Night of Inspiration and Music. The months alternate between Spanish and English programs and it is an opportunity for the missionaries to bring their investigators to hear uplifting messages through missionary talks and songs.
Typically the night has a theme such as "The Light of the Gospel", "Creations of Our God and King" or "A Walk Through the Savior's Life". It has showcased both sisters and elders and has included instrumental and vocal performances. Some missionaries are well known as gifted singers or pianists or violinists. Other missionaries surprise us as they gather the courage to share their talent as a way to praise the Lord.
Most recently there was a string quartet who performed at the English Night of Inspiration. This was made possible because we had a violist and a cellist just arrive in the mission. The quartet not only looked beautiful, but they sounded beautiful. Yes, I have a video of this. No, I don't know how to add it to this blog, though I clearly should be able to. It's not as if I haven't tried, so if anyone can help me..... In the meantime, you can at least see some stills of the great talent that we have here.

Recently we also had the Spanish Night of Music and Inspiration. The majority of the program was done by those missionaries serving in the Spanish speaking program. The exception was for the string quartet who adopted a couple of hermanas for the evening. Once again, I do have video of this. HELP. Let me know how to include some for you to heard the great talent we have

The music for this evening was largely done by missionaries serving in the Spanish program. The exception was the string quartet where they adopted a few of the sisters as honorary Hermanas for the night.
