Seneca and Washington North Zone Conference, June 25, 2012

We look forward to quarterly conferences when zones gather for training and meetings. The Potomac chapel is the site for this conference of the northern most zones.

Sister Allen and Sister Avelar use the few minutes before zone conference to catch up on their Book of Mormon reading. The entire mission is reading the Book of Mormon together during these next two transfers.

Elder Lanham, Elder Dickerson Elder Lowry and Elder Hurd are busily engaged in checking their cars.

Car checks is a good time to clean the car extra well.  Elder Gillespie helps Elder Rodriguez shake out a car mat.

And the sisters learn about cars, too.  Left to right: Sister Miller, Sister Joost, Sister Schoemaker and Sister Lawrence.

Meanwhile, inside those missionaries who have completed car checks early help me set the tables for lunch.

Missionaries gather in the chapel.

More missionaries complete their car checks and arrive. And no, Elder Galuvao isn't sleeping.  He saw the camera and took this pose.

After the initial training, the missionaries break into groups led by the zone leaders who taught the plan of salvation.
