The sisters in our mission are wonderful. They are capable teachers, having learned how to talk to people at the visitors center face to face as well as "chat" with them online.
Up until last year the sisters in the English program taught in all four stakes. Last year the decision was made to have them closer to the visitors center. That way they could fulfill shifts each week at the visitors center as well as work their area. Currently there are no full time sisters serving in the Suitland Stake.
Most of these pictures, then, were taken in wards in the Seneca, Washington DC, and Silver Spring Stake. They represent the wonderful new members who have joined the church over the past 18 months and who were taught by the sisters in the English program. Interestingly enough, many of these "English" sisters speak English as their second language. They have come from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Kenya, India, Tahiti and Brazil.
