Transfer week - trainers trainees and transfer day: June 12, 2013

Meeting a new companion is always a combination of fun and nerves.  This is especially true for the new missionaries who don't know what missionary work is all about.  Hopefully these great trainers will be able to help them.

New missionaries left to right: Elder Ah Ching, Elder Jackman, Elder Wood and Elder Wilcox.

New missionaries left to right: Elder Parker, Elder Fuller, Elder Jensen and Elder Ah Ching.

Front row - new sisters: Sister Mendenhall, Sister Kohler, Sister Weber and Sister Croese.
Back row - trainers: Sister Nakatsuka, Sister Balls, Sister Bullock and Sister Morotti.

Trainers left to right:  Elder McDonald, Elder Galuvao, Elder Hunt and Elder Loveless.

Spanish trainers left to right: Elder Alca, Elder Picon and Elder Cervantes.

Nervously awaiting left to right: Elder Jensen, Elder Ah Ching, Elder Parker, Elder Jackman, Sister Croese and Sister Kohler.

Across the way - not as nervous left to right: Elder McDonald, Elder Galuvao, Elder Alca, (Elder Picon behind), and Elder Cervantes.

Left to right:  Sister Mendenhall, Sister Weber, Elder Fisher (pretending to be a new missionary), Elder Wood, Elder Wilcox and Elder Fuller.

And at ease from left to right: Sister Balls, Sister Bullock, Sister Morotti, Sister Nakatsuka, Elder Branning (pretending to be the new trainer), Elder Loveless and Elder Hunt.

Sisters demonstrate how they welcome one another.

Elders welcome differently.

In the meantime, transfer meeting begins to shape up as the missionaries arrive.
Left to right on the floor  (on the floor???): Sister Smith, Sister Wankier, Sister Graff, Sister Owens and Sister Leben.

We are always grateful for good weather on transfer days.

There are no straight lines here so approximately left to right: Elder Stoor, Elder Ng, Elder Radford, Elder Rushton, Elder  Gleed, Elder Porter, Elder Johnson, Elder Guerrero, Elder Gremillion, Elder Wendt, Elder Gold, Elder He, Elder Peterson and Elder Proudfoot.

No attempt at identifying missionaries in this shot. But you can see them arriving. We didn't know that every missionary would attend this meeting - whether they were being transferred or not.  As a "farewell", they all stood and sang the mission song including a new written third verse.  President wrote to the missionaries that he cried like a little girl.  And the response was, "That was the goal".

Again approximately left to right: Elder Ah Puck, Elder Snow, Elder Lanham, Elder Carrera, Elder Centeno, Elder Bodda, Elder Rushton and Elder Wendt.

The French program + one Spanish  :-)
Left to right:  Elder Wery, Elder Fletcher, Elder Lussier-Houle, Elder Hansen, Elder Whitlock, Elder Nollet and Elder Bledsoe.
