Arrivals: March 5, 2013

Occasionally missionaries are sent to the field "off  transfer" - meaning they do not come with the usually scheduled groups.  This happens with those serving in some of the language programs or who may have to come earlier or later for other reasons.  Happily, we received three wonderful missionaries today.

Left to right: Elder Clapier, Elder Proudfoot, Elder Stubbs, Sister Shaw and Elder Sanchez.

We stopped by the temple.
Left to right: Sister Shaw, Kaysville, UT; President and Sister Matsumori; Elder Stubbs, Moab, UT; Elder Proudfoot, Cincinnati, OH.

Since this group came via a red eye flight, we made our usual trek to IHOP.

Joanne is such a wonderful waitress, we request her. She knows how to take orders for our largest groups and get us served quickly and accurately - not so hard with 7 of us but a real trick when we come in with nearly 20. And she still gets it right.
These new arrivals met their trainers this evening at the Visitors Center.  The all seemed excited to be headed right into their new areas.
