Transfer week: New Arrivals, August 28, 2012

We were excited to see the new missionaries arrive this morning.  I love how the Lord really is in charge.  Their flight was scheduled several months ago and we couldn't understand why the agent would book it through New York rather than Atlanta - thus having the missionaries leave Salt Lake earlier, have a longer lay over and yet arrive at the same time as usual.

And then Hurricane Isaac showed up in Florida - and their usual flight would have been cancelled.

Then we head for breakfast.  President takes the camera today, so I'm in the shots.

You know all of the people - just look at the food.  And there wasn't a bite left on any plate by the time we finished.

Back at the mission home, the assistants teach and then have the missionaries practice.

I got so involved with dinner, I just got a photo of the first group through the line.  Traditionally we let the seniors go first, followed by the sisters and then the elders.
Left to right: Sister Bowman, Sister Lorenzana  (her husband is the first counselor in the mission presidency),  Elder Black (vehicle coordinator) and Sister Black (referrals, mail and medical).

And then there's ping pong...

Round the world.
