Silver Spring South and Suitland Zone Conference, April 12, 2012

The southern most zones meet in the Suitland Stake Center.
I know you're wondering how many M&M's actually make it until lunch. Despite what these missionaries are trying to make you believe - most of the candy is still there three hours later.
Left to right: Elder Benke Elder Webb, Elder Branning, Elder Pound, Elder Morris and Elder Watts.

Elder Lindsay and  Elder  Roomataaroa have unique companionship ties.  These are ones designed and drawn by Elder Roomataaroa.

These missionaries begin gathering in the hall prior to zone conference.  Nope, not even going to try to label who is who except to say that there are only two sisters (non-seniors) in these two zones - Sister Ertelt and Sister Holt.
The two zones go to different areas to meet and do role plays.

The missionaries use scriptures in learning.  Front row left to right: Sister Ertelt, Elder Pound and Elder Morris.

Elder Pearson, far right, helps the role play group with Elder Watts and Elder Gremillion.

It takes concentration to be able to teach when others so close to you are also teaching.

The sisters from the Bowie Ward provided a wonderful lunch including chicken, beef, homemade rolls and fresh fruit.

The sisters come out to greet the  missionaries.

This meal looked like we were at a wedding reception.  Notice that we have the senior missionaries lead the way.

You would think I'd learn better than to leave my camera just sitting on a table, wouldn't you?  Smiling faces - approximately left to right:  Elder Nielsen, Elder Nisson, Elder Epperson, Elder Gumbi, Elder Shurtleff and Elder Furugen (in the background).
